Concrete contractors in North Carolina

Browse 3 selected concrete businesses in North Carolina, with license records checked on 2026-10-07. Start with a county or business below. This is a selected directory; an unlisted company is not necessarily unlicensed or ineligible.

What these North Carolina records tell you

These listings have an active S (Concrete Construction) classification. This is a narrow selection, not every North Carolina business permitted to perform concrete work. Building classifications and other eligible businesses are not included in this pilot.

Check each business with NCLBGC's official license search. A listing is not a workmanship rating, a verified customer review or confirmation that the business participates in our referral service. We do not independently verify insurance; request current documentation directly.

Where the listed businesses are based

Mailing locations represented on this page: Clayton, Leland, China Grove. County, parish and independent-city assignments use the largest Census land overlap for each business ZIP. ZIP centers are approximate; they are not exact business addresses or driving distances.

Check the classification and project limit

North Carolina's board separates the type of work covered by a classification from the financial limitation on a license. Read both on the current record. A Limited or Unlimited label is not a rating of workmanship. Our selected records hold the concrete-construction specialty; the board also describes broader classifications that cover concrete work.

NCLBGC classifications and limitations. Ask the board about the license requirements for your specific scope, contract value and contracting arrangement.

Driveway permits depend on the property

Raleigh tells owners to obtain permits before adding or replacing a residential driveway. Charlotte directs residential driveway and apron-modification questions to its Development Center. These are different local processes; a state license does not replace a permit review.

Give each bidder the same project brief

Measure the existing surface and describe the intended use. Include photographs of cracks, pooling water, changes in level, street access and anything that must remain usable during the work. Ask for demolition, disposal, base preparation, drainage, reinforcement, finish and curing protection to be identified in the written scope. Design requirements should come from the approved plans and project conditions.

Use our concrete calculator once dimensions are established, and our national cost guides for planning context. They are not local bids. Ask what could change the price and who approves changes.

Request a project match

We review requests and seek up to three suitable contractors. Imported records do not establish participation, confirmed service areas or a guaranteed response. A contractor claim or manual business-contact check is needed before a match can be fulfilled.
